The third edition of this international event was held on 27-28 October in Barcelona by involving the participation of large stores such as The Coca-Cola Company, Adolfo Dominguez, Tom Tailor, El Corte Inglés, FC Barcelona, Timberland, Puig and Fanatics, among others.
Barcelona, November 9, 2016 – Club-Ecommerce held the third edition of the Cross-Border Summit 1to1 (CBS) in Barcelona with a great success of participation during the last week of October. From 27th to 28th of October, for two consecutive days this international event brought together and hosted more than 250 professionals from 35 different nationalities at the Hilton La Mola hotel, gathering exclusively top executives (c-level) of big companies and providers of the best international digital solutions.
The meeting was attended by companies such as The Coca-Cola Company, Adolfo Dominguez, Tom Tailor, El Corte Inglés, FC Barcelona, Timberland, Puig, Fanatics, as well as up to a hundreds of other stores, which were able to discuss and establish relationships between each other and with the experts, who also participated in the 25 success cases and 4 interactive open talks carried out by specialists from Austria, France, Italy and the UK.
The Congress started with a speech delivered by Corinne Poort, Managing Editor of the Ecommerce Foundation, showing interesting facts and figures on e-commerce studies and publications worldwide, as well as revealing 25 success stories of the stores that have internationalized their business with the help of experts in different solutions for ecommerce such as: Salesforce Cloud, GLS, Hipay, Magento, Centiro and Gamned.
The highlight of the event was the 1to1 meetings between the participants, with a total record of more than 1,800 appointments this year generated by having considered the interests expressed by each of the participants, not to mention the multiple networking opportunities and leisure activities offered by the two-day coexistence at the hotel as an addition to the official agenda.
In addition, the Summit hosted the first edition of SAAS ECommerce Competition, where start-ups of eCommerce solutions made a proposal and entered an evaluation process by a qualified jury, who awarded the most innovative proposal. In this first competition, Nektria was the winner of the competition positioning its proposal as the most attractive in terms of innovation.
The event was held at the Hilton La Mola Hotel, exclusively reserved to host the e-commerce professionals throughout the two days. In addition to the activities of the event, the attendees were able to enjoy impromptu meetings and leisure time, such as a welcome cocktail, a dinner and an afterwork meeting with live music.
What's coming next! The fourth edition of the Digital 1to1 Summit, directed to the national Digital sector to be held on the 9th and 10th of March in Barcelona. More than 50 stores and 20 solutions of the Digital sector have already registered for the event. Do not miss it!
